About this Event
Join us for a slow, intentional morning exploring a collection of Shades of Green Permaculture gardens in and around Decatur.
This self-guided tour is an invitation to step inside real, living landscapes—spaces designed not just for beauty, but for function, resilience, and connection to the natural world. Each garden reflects a different story: how water is managed, how soil is restored, and how plants and people can thrive together.
Ahead of the tour, you’ll receive a digital guide and map to lead your way. Along the route, you’ll also be able to listen to short audio recordings sharing insights on each space—what you’re seeing, how it works, and what it took to get there.
We’ll close the morning together at the Shades of Green headquarters meadow and garden for light bites, drinks, and time to gather in community.
This is a free event, open to anyone who’s curious about what’s possible when we design in partnership with the land.
