Sinopsis
Sertai bengkel yang dikendalikan oleh Encik Farihan Bahron, penulis pemenang pelbagai anugerah ini. Sesi ini akan memfokuskan penghasilan karya naratif yang memanfaatkan nostalgia tempat-tempat yang suatu ketika (dan mungkin masih lagi) akrab dengan masyarakat Melayu di Singapura. Ini merupakan suatu kaedah pendokumentasian tempat-tempat yang menjadi warisan bangsa selain usaha untuk melestarikan kerelevanannya pada hari ini dan masa depan.
Profil Penulis (dalam bahasa Inggeris)
Farihan Bahron, creative director and co-founder of Unggun Creative. He received first prize at the Golden Point Award for both Malay short story and Malay poetry categories in 2015. He received the Anugerah Harapan (Young Writer Award) at the Anugerah Persuratan ceremony in 2017. His first poetry book, Tukang Tunjuk Telunjuk won the Singapore Literature Prize for Malay poetry in 2018. while Kesumat Sang Avatar received the commendation prize for the Malay fiction category.
Located at B1 of the National Library Building, the Central Public Library will open on 12 January 2024. Home to the Children’s Biodiversity Library by S.E.A. Aquarium, the library will also offer content on Singapore culture, literature and sustainability.
