About this Event
Looking for a career in cultural or heritage resource management? Are you interested in heritage stewardship and Indigenous archaeology?
Join the SFU Department of Archaeology for an informative expo, where a panel will talk about their experiences and give advice on what to expect in the field of cultural resource management in BC and Canada.
Over the years this event has touched on important topics such as reconciliation, repatriation, heritage stewardship, UNDRIP, DRIPA, training & education, and more.
The second portion is a networking session where firms that are actively recruiting are invited to announce open positions, share their positioning on company values around work life balance, salary, gender, family, travel, field & office work, education, qualifications, but most of all meet and mingle with the people that they will likely interview this upcoming field season.
