ABOUT SF DANCE FILM FESTIVAL
The San Francisco Dance Film Festival (SFDFF) is a multi-day international event showcasing the best in dance film from around the world. A non-profit organization operating year round, SFDFF has the mission of supporting independent artists through screenings, panels, filmmaking workshops, and original film productions that bring together professionals from the communities of dance, filmmaking, and music in unprecedented collaborations.
The festival continues to seek groundbreaking work in the field of screendance, and welcomes submissions of dance-based narrative shorts and features, documentaries, live performance captures, installations, music videos and XR works. All forms of dance are welcome. This year, the final day of the festival will highlight queer dancers, including a special film by Intimité Révélée.
THE AFTER PARTY
Following SFDFF's final show, attendees will take a short walk (strut!) next door to the ODC Annex, where the talented DJ LAKEVERETT, delicious bites, a premium open bar and mocktails, and (of course) a fabulous cocktail party awaits them. There will be a special bachata performance by dancers from the Queer Afro Latin Dance Festival, as well as a stunning dance performance by Sir Joc.
HOW TO ATTEND
This event is FREE to attendees of either the SFDFF 6:30PM or 8PM April 27th screenings. To attend this event, you must purchase a ticket to SFDFF, which will take place at ODC Theater (3153 17th St, San Francisco) on Saturday, April 27th. Visit www.sfdancefilmfest.org to purchase your ticket. SFDFF will provide a special code which will permit attendees to register for the afterparty.
