PLAY THE FAN GAME BEFORE THE REAL MATCH
Flickmatch organizes Fan vs. Fan pickup soccer games timed perfectly to coincide with every World Cup match hosted right here in the Bay Area.
Here is how it works: You choose a pickup game that corresponds to an upcoming World Cup clash happening locally. You show up to a high-quality Bay Area turf pitch wearing your national team's colors, and we assign you to the fan squad that matches your allegiance—Team A fans on one side, Team B fans on the other.
Event Details
- Format: 7v7 , small-sided, fast, competitive
- Duration: 60 minutes total (2 x 30-minute halves + 5-minute break at half time)
- Referee: Certified referee from the state soccer association. Yellow and red cards enforced.
- Rules: Modified FIFA 7v7
- Experience Level: All welcome : Casual (any ability), Regular (plays occasionally), Competitive (plays in a league)
- What We Provide: Match balls, colored team bibs, certified referee, coordinator on-site, group photo moment
