Sexuality and Gender: A Path Forward for Discipleship

Amidst the cultural challenges to traditional Christian sexuality/gender, we gather to discuss what a discipleship path might look like for our churches today.

We explore the assumptions and cultural factors that shape the basis of our sexualities: including essentialism, attraction, the construction of gender, desire, self expressivism, subjectivity, the self, cultural marriage.

Then we explore what a relation to Jesus as Lord of our lives means for sexuality/gender/Christian marriage, discipleship - a discipleship where all can be invited into – heterosexuals go first.
