About this Event
Welcome to our September **Sex Worm Sex Ed Book Club** meet-up! Join us for an in-person session where we dive into engaging discussions about sexuality, relationships, and everything in between related to our sex ed read of the month. This month, we'll be dissecting Esther Perel's book The State of Affairs: Rethinking Infidelity that promises to enlighten and entertain. Whether you're a book enthusiast or just curious to learn more, this is the perfect place to expand your knowledge in a relaxed and open-minded setting. Bring your thoughts, questions, and a friend if you'd like. Let's gather, grow, and have a blast together!
If you're looking to...
- gain or expand on your knowledge of human sexuality
- engage in provocative, respectful, insightful, and honest conversation
- make friends or connect with people who like to read books and talk about books
- have fun while talking about sex, bodies, relationships, and life, and take back all the ways restricted sexual education has failed us
...then you've found the perfect book club for you!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Sex Ed Book Club is not:
- A substitute or form of therapy or mental health care.
- Nothing discussed in this book club should be treated as medical or therapeutic advice.
- A support group or processing group
- I am a mental health professional, but not during this book club. I am a sex educator and love to facilitate spaces where people get the opportunity to potentially have reparative experiences especially surrounding sex ed! Many of us did not get the space we deserved! I am just a girl, standing in front of you, asking you to share what you thought of the book.
- This space is intended to meet like-minded folks, have fun, and have more real, honest conversations about sex, bodies, and relationships in a supportive space.
Get comfy and bring your book to bed for a riveting discussion.
