Details: Grab your favorite people for this one-of-a-kind event that you won’t want to miss. This is a 19+ event, and we welcome teams of 2-4 people. The evening features three rounds of Sex Ed themed trivia aimed to tickle your curiosity and maybe even teach you a thing or two! Between rounds, you’ll be captivated by burlesque performances from the incredible La Dame Derrière! Our Sex Ed Trivia and Burlesque Night is the perfect opportunity to test your knowledge while enjoying great beers and top-tier entertainment. Get ready to answer questions on all things sex-related—including myths and facts, anatomy, kinks, toys, and more—in a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. Plus, there will be plenty of sexy prizes up for grabs!

This event is a Fundraiser for WISH Drop-In-Centre Society a Vancouver based organization, supporting sex workers since 1984. There will be a WISH staff member on site to talk about the great work they do and answer any questions you may have.

A new monthly fundraising event at R&B Brewing. *Each month will feature new trivia questions, a new burlesque performer and a different local organization that proceeds will be donated to!

Ticket price covers entry—drinks and gratuity are extra. We strongly encourage cash tips for our live performer, so please bring cash if possible.This is a 19+ event, and two pieces of valid government ID are required for entry.

About your host, Sex Educator Alysha: Alysha is a queer Sexual Health Educator based in Vancouver, BC. She believes that education is a tool for empowerment and is on a mission to make sex ed more accessible and enjoyable. Alysha teaches all aspects of sexual health in a comprehensive, inclusive, and pleasure-based way.

About the performer, La Dame Derrière : La Dame Derriis a potent mix of sensuality, soft curves, and sapphic angst. This fiery femme has traveled all over North America snatching crowns and stealing girlfriends. She’s won Miss Viva Las Vegas and Monarch of the Pacific Northwest Burlesque Festival, as well as titles at three other festivals (and counting) and competed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in 2024 and 2025. Their work is for the gays and theys, centering queer art and bringing the drama from a background in opera and drag. Get ready to fall in love or fall to your knees before them, it’s La Dame Derriere!

About WISH Drop-In Centre Society:For over 40 years, WISH Drop-In Centre Society has been a refuge and an essential point of contact for street-based sex workers.

Based on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, on the unceded, stolen lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓ əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ First Nations, WISH exists to improve the health, safety and well-being of cis and trans women, Two-Spirit, non-binary, and gender diverse sex workers.

Many of the people who access WISH have been impacted by the criminalized nature of Canada’s laws surrounding sex work and face significant discrimination due to systemic inequities.
