Looking for a creative activity that builds confidence and practical skills? Our sewing and textile workshops for young people aged 9–13 are a fun, friendly way for children to learn something new and go home proudly carrying what they’ve made.
Across these workshops, young people will learn how to use a real sewing machine, try out hand skills like crochet, and make projects such as a backpack or skirt from start to finish. Everything is taught step by step in a calm, supportive studio, with experienced tutors who are brilliant at helping young makers feel confident and capable.
These sessions are about more than craft. They encourage focus, patience, problem-solving and independence, all while having fun and discovering the joy of making something with their own hands. No previous experience needed, and all materials are provided.
Perfect for:
✔️ Creative children
✔️ Beginners who like learning practical skills
✔️ Young people who enjoy hands-on activities away from screens
✔️ Parents looking for a meaningful, confidence-boosting workshop
