About this Event
Join us for a focused, hands-on sewing workshop designed to build your garment construction skills with clarity and precision. In this session, students will work on a half-scale dress while learning and practicing essential techniques including sewing darts for shaping, installing a zipper, applying accurate pattern markings using transfer paper, and finishing with clean, professional hems.
This workshop is ideal for those who already have basic sewing knowledge and are ready to refine their technique and improve the quality of their work. Students must have prior sewing experience or have completed Sewing 101. You’ll be guided step-by-step while focusing on control, accuracy, and the small details that elevate your sewing.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a completed half-scale sample and a stronger, more confident understanding of core garment construction skills you can apply to future projects.
Materials are included. you are welcomed to bring your own cotton fabric.
