Sewing skills - Garment making with Heather

If you have some experience of sewing and are looking to develop your skills in the art of making clothing, this course is perfect for you. Heather, our talented sewing expert, will guide you through the wonderful world of sewing and you'll gain confidence in a variety of sewing projects. Don't miss this opportunity to unleash your creativity and connect with fellow sewing enthusiasts.

6 week sewing course - The sessions are every Thursday 1pm -4pm, commencing on 7th November 2024 (other dates are 14th Nov, 21st Nov, 28th Nov, 5th Dec, 12th Dec). All courses are run in the beautiful craft room at The Cowshed in Rubra 2, Mulberry Business Park, Fishponds Road, Wokingham. Plenty of Parking available.

Refreshments will be provided, along with the use of sewing machines and some sewing supplies.The course includes use of our sewing machines and overlockers, along with some donated fabrics. However, if you wish to make a garment you may like to choose your own fabric and pattern (under the guidance of your tutor). Depending on your project choice you may also need zippers, bindings etc.

These courses will continue throughout the year, allowing you the opportunity to continue your sewing journey should you wish to do so.
