Class Description
These sessions are for anyone and everyone who loves hand sewing, hand stitching, unpicking (o.k. maybe we don’t love unpicking, but sometimes it is needed ?) and any other activities involving hand needles and fabrics, maybe a bit of glue, interfacing, stitch and tear or solufleece as well. We welcome tapestry, weaving, applique, embroidery, lace making, beading etc. Basically, anything made by hands using any type of needles ?
Bring your latest project and sew together with other like-minded people. Come along if you are stuck and need help. Pop in if you feel a bit lonely sewing home on your own. We have always plenty of ideas as what to make if you have lost your sew-jo and need to get back excited, inspired or even started with sewing.
What do I need to bring?
You will need your project, or idea what you would like to make. Essential is to bring good mood, smile, patience, and enthusiasm. But don’t worry if you are a bit grumpy and not sure what to do or how to progress, we will help ?
Just to sew things up...
You can use any of our embroidery silks, embroidery hoops, offcuts of fabrics, trims, ribbons, lace and… Anything you can think of ?
We have tea, coffee hot chocolate, water and biscuits always ready to keep you going.
A few important T&Cs
Please take a moment to read the not so fun BUT nevertheless important terms and conditions regarding the sewing classes we run.
• We welcome crafters between the age of 6years old – 99 years old (an adult must accompany children between the ages of 6-12years old) – please book only one place and let us know that you require a space for adult and child
• If your child is older than 12year old but require an adult to support them during the lesson, please contact us to discuss, we will do our best to consider your circumstances and come to a reasonable agreement for both sides
