Teaching Artist: MarieAnn “Flower” Fluker
Build confidence and demystify your sewing machine in this hands-on beginner workshop designed to help students understand their tools from the inside out. Participants will learn how to properly thread their machine, adjust tension, select and test basic stitches, and troubleshoot common issues. New skills will be applied in a simple starter project that ties everything together.
Perfect for true beginners, new machine owners, or anyone looking for a refresher. Leave feeling empowered, not intimidated. All students must bring their own sewing machine, manual, and attachments.
There will be a 30-minute lunch break, so please bring along a bagged lunch.
