In this three hour workshop, we will cover:
fabric terminology and layouts
how to chose a pattern (and know what to buy for it)
cutting tools (and how to use them)
Materials (fabric and thread) are provided and students can choose to use a studio machine at no charge.
What to Bring:
Notebook and pen (if you like to take notes)
Yourself
A caffeinated beverage (if you think you'll need it)
Your sewing machine (if you have one and prefer to use it)
Recommended (but not required) tools listed below
Recommended Purchases:
These are standard tools that you will need for any basic sewing project and we require these in all of our quilting and intermediate sewing classes.
