About this Event
A cozy space to mend, make, and connect
Sewing Club is a relaxed, drop-in gathering where we come together to repair, sew, and connect in community. Bring your well-loved items in need of care and get guidance on mending techniques to help bring them back to life.
If you’re feeling crafty and want to work on a personal sewing or textile project, you’re very welcome too. This is a supportive space to learn, share skills, and spend time making together.
What’s available:
- A cozy studio space with tea, feel free to bring snacks for yourself (or to share!)
- 3 domestic sewing machines
- Needles, thread, scissors, cutting mats, iron
- Advice and support on repairs
- A variety of textile scraps
Supplies are limited, so you’re encouraged to bring your own materials if you have them.
When:
6:00–9:00 PM (drop in anytime)
Where:
Slocan Fieldhouse
Cost:
A small contribution is appreciated if you’re able, to help cover supplies and volunteer honorarium—but no one will be turned away.
