These classes are being held at Myrtle Philip Community School lounge room - the glass door across main entrance. The class start right after school end and children can walk over on their own- this mean you can pick them up at 4:30.
Kids sewing class focus on teaching the children how to use the sewing machine. We strongly recommend using your own, but we also offer machines in case you don't have one. Starting with threading and basic set up and continuing with simple projects. Children have full acces to all the equiptment and beautiful materials.
We will be learning, how to measure, how to plan a project, how to use a simple pattern, how to cut and not waste the material. We will also learn how to sew on a button and other basics of hand sewing.
You can expect all the loved projects like:
- scrunchies
- banners
- stuffies
- zipper pouch
...and much more. The main point of this class is to support the creativity and ability to focus on task. And the results are outstanding :)
