Sewing Basics for Baddies is the only sewing class where you join as a beginner and leave with a new garment! Crafted for the total amateur, this class will teach you everything you need to know to create your own bespoke wardrobe. Over three sessions you'll learn to:
- read and use sewing patterns
- take a full set of body measurements
- use a sewing machine and its various accessories
- create a test garment and translate fitting adjustments to the pattern
- construct darts, pleats, bias binding, and finish the garment
The class meets over three Thursday evenings in my home studio. The class fee includes all supplies as well as 6 hours of small group instruction.
