In this one-off class, you'll sew a fully finished apron from scratch. It's a satisfying project that covers the core skills of garment construction in a single session, and you'll walk away with something you'll actually use. What you'll learn
You'll learn how to cut fabric accurately, sew straight seams, finish edges neatly, and attach straps and ties so everything sits and hangs the way it should. Your instructor will walk you through the process step by step, covering technique, fit, and how to troubleshoot as you go. By the end of the session you'll have a finished, wearable apron and a clearer understanding of how a garment comes together.
What's included
All materials are provided EXCEPT fabric, thread, and any notions needed to complete the project. Sewing machines are available to use in class, or you're welcome to bring your own. You'll take home a finished apron. Please bring 2 yards of cotton or duck cloth fabric. Your fabric should be pre-washed and pressed.
Who this is for
This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn to sew or is looking to build confidence on the machine. A little experience helps but isn't required. Perfect if you've been wanting to try garment sewing and want a project with a clear, satisfying end result.
