Join us in the upstairs sitting area to mend things you love, alter things to fit better and learn hand sewing skills. We will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month 6:30-8pm. Bring an item from home that needs repair.We will have a selection of materials and sewing supplies on hand as well as a volunteer, experienced in many mending techniques, who can help you make a plan.
Mending helps minimize the demand for new garments, saving water, energy, and raw materials. You’re also diverting textiles away from landfills by giving them a renewed life.
