Join us for Sew Much Fun: Beginner Sewing for Ages 6–9, a two‑week, hands‑on introduction to sewing designed especially for young makers. Using pre‑cut, pre‑punched felt pieces and plastic needles, kids will learn the basics of hand‑sewing. We’ll be working with beginner‑friendly felt animal kits, which include everything needed to complete a project: colorful felt shapes, embroidery thread, stuffing, and simple step‑by‑step instructions!Sewing at a young age offers wonderful benefits. It strengthens fine motor skills, hand‑eye coordination, and focus, while also encouraging creativity and problem‑solving. Many children find sewing calming and empowering... there’s something special about watching a project come together stitch by stitch!
Because this is a skill‑building program, participants are required to register and are asked to commit to both weeks of the session. Children ages 6 and 7 must attend with an adult to help support their learning.
