Join us for Sew It Be: Fun Sewing Camp this March Break! Kids will learn the basics of sewing while creating fun, hands-on projects they can wear, use, gift, or sell. This camp is perfect for beginners and combines creativity, practical skills, and a little magic of alterations.
What Kids Will Learn:
- Safe and confident sewing machine use
- Straight seams, corners, and finishing touch
- Cutting, pinning, and pressing fabric
- Simple garment alterations: hemming, adjusting seams, fixing small rips
- Fun creative touches by making a projects
Projects Students Will Complete:
- Stitch sampler to practice skills
- Tote bag, cute bows, zipper pouch
- hand sewig by making popular sock toy
- Simple alteration applied to a small garment (e.g., hemmed or adjusted T-shirt or skirt)
