Open to girls, grades, 4-12Sewing, a valuable skill to learn! Mrs. Aline has been teaching at this camp for years! During this camp Girl Scouts will learn how to use a sewing machine as they create handcrafted pillowcases, drawstring bags and other projects. They will also learn the craft of sewing by hand for small projects like sewing on buttons.
Girls will complete a service project activity in which they will donate one of the drawstring bags to a local organization. They are encouraged to bring items such as book, colors, personal items, etc. to fill the bags.
Girls get to keep their handmade creations. The fee includes lunch, fabric, thread, patch, and other needed supplies. We will provide sandwich lunches with a variety of healthy sides.
This event is for Juniors and above (4th graders and above for the 2026-2027 school year).
