Its a New Year and time for a new project ! Join member Paulette as she leads the group in making easy to sew rag quilts . These quilts will be returned at our February meeting . They will be delivered to : River's Edge Ministry in Elizabethton . Recipients are those individuals who suffered loss due to Hurricane Helene. Notes from Paulette : if you have a walking foot- be sure to bring it along for extra ease when working on this project . Also- knit needles are helpful . ( Sew Crazy will have some for use but feel free to bring along any you might have) .
Our potluck lunch theme : Soup and sandwich . Get those crock pots cranking or, feel free to use the stove at the church .
***Its time to turn in the activity mats started last autumn for the children . Please return your completed mats if still outstanding. **
