Join us for a full weekend, sewing the Diana dress (or top) from scratch! We'll cut, prep and sew the Diana over a full weekend, with a small group of up to 4 people and full tutor support right from the start.

The Diana dress is one of my own patterns, so I know it well! In this workshop we will cut and sew the Diana dress (or top), taking into account our body types and measurements beforehand to ensure a good fit. We'll be sewing a collar and rever neckline, buttons and button holes, princess seams and in some cases, we'll even sew the sleeve, and you'll even get the pattern to take home with you to make more!

This workshop includes the pattern, but does not include fabric. We have a selection of suitable fabrics available online in which you will get a 10% discount if you are purchasing these for the workshop. We would recommend buying a week in advance so you can prewash your fabric and avoid shrinkage when you wash your garment at a later date. You can of course by your fabric elsewhere or even upcycle bedsheets or something similar if this is more your vibe! If preferred you can even buy a cheap fabric to use as a toile or sample, that we can then make fit adjustments too and apply to the pattern, so that you can take away and make your newly adjusted pattern at home. You will also need buttons for this dress.

(You should have a basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine to do this workshop. we'll have a quick run down of the machines and how to use them but we won't spend too long on this part).
