About this Event

Learn how to create your own trendy unisex oversized cropped T-shirt in this beginner-friendly sewing class. Students will be guided step-by-step through the process of cutting, assembling, and sewing while learning foundational sewing skills along the way. Students will have the opportunity to adjust sizing during class for a more custom fit. This class is perfect for beginners who want to build confidence using a sewing machine and gain experience working with cotton fabric. By the end of the class, each student will leave with a custom handmade T-shirt and a better understanding of garment construction basics.

At Sew Free Co., I offer hands-on sewing classes designed to help you build real skills at your own pace, whether you’re learning the basics, refreshing your skills, or ready to create your first garment. My goal is to make sewing feel approachable, fun, and empowering so you leave each class feeling proud of what you made.

Refund Policy:

Transfers to another class follow the same refund rules as your original date.
14+ days before the first class: Full refund.
7–13 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.
Fewer than 7 days before the first class: No refunds.
Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.

Class may be canceled due to low enrollment in which case a full refund will be issued.
Cancellation Policy:

MakerSpace reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment. If a class is canceled by MakerSpace, fees are 100% refundable.
