Join us for a truly special day on the Severn Way as we walk from the source of Britain’s longest river all the way to Llanidloes. 🏞️🥾We begin in the heart of Hafren Forest, surrounded by pine trees and fresh mountain air, before climbing steadily towards the source of the River Severn — a small peat bog high in the Cambrian Mountains marking the river’s humble beginnings.
From here, we follow the river as it starts its long journey to the sea, descending through forest tracks and open moorland before reaching the charming market town of Llanidloes.
A beautiful and rewarding 21-mile day, packed with scenery, history and a real sense of achievement.
Distance: 21 miles
Full meeting details and timings will be sent closer to the date.
Please note this hike is linear - we can arrange transfers back to the start point for participants.
