About this Event
Creative Writing Workshop with Caroline Catlin
What words do we hold back—and what would happen if we set them free? Inspired by If I Could Tell You I Would…, The Fishbowl’s upcoming exhibit on communication and connection, this free creative writing workshop invites you to explore the things you wish you could say. Through gentle prompts—including a guided letter-writing exercise and warm-ups sparked by the exhibit’s questions—you’ll experiment with language as a way to reach across silence.
Facilitated by writer and educator Caroline Catlin, whose beloved grief-writing workshops center care and compassion, this session offers a supportive space to write, reflect, and, if you wish, share. Participants will also have the opportunity to read their work at the Fishbowl’s Open Mic Nights on 10/16 and 11/20 at 6 pm.
Sessions (free, limited space):
- Sun 10/05, 11 am–1 pm – In person
- Tue 10/15, 6:30–8:30 pm – Online
