May 2, 2026 @ 2pm - Setting Boundaries With LoveMini-Teaching Point
Boundaries are not punishments—they are healthy guidelines that support safety, connection, and emotional growth. Youth respond better when boundaries are explained, predictable, and fair.
Youth communicate distress through behavior. Acting out is often a sign of emotional overload, not defiance. A supportive home responds thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively.
Family Roundtable Discussion Series Creating a Supportive Home Environment for Our Youth
Purpose: Increase healthy parental engagement by helping parents to understand what it truly means to create a supportive home environment for our youth—emotionally, mentally, and socially. Because the home is the first community our children know, the atmosphere we create can either help them thrive or struggle. The family roundtable discussions are judgment-free conversations that explore real challenges, share wisdom, and encourage learning from one another.
Outcomes: Strengthened family relationships; increased parental engagement
Measurement Tools: Pre and Post Surveys
