About this Event
Investor Readiness Programme: Facilitated by Bryan Sergeant
Designed for companies raising first or second round of equity funding, this course will give you a solid understanding of how to secure investment from the right investors.
Delivered in two ½ day sessions, the course is highly interactive and consists of a series of ‘teaching sprints’ with multiple real-world examples and practical exercises. The sessions are both 9.15am-1pm.
It’s required that you attend both sessions.
After the course you’ll have a clear understanding of how investment works and how you can secure the right funds from the right investors at the best valuation to support your growth and ambitions.

Bryan Sergeant is a seasoned business leader, mentor, investor and trainer. His leadership experience includes corporates (Du Pont, Hawker Siddeley, Invensys, Telewest / Virgin Media) as well as mid-cap businesses, SMEs and start-ups. He was a founding director of uSwitch.com which was sold, 6 years after launch, for £210m. He’s worked across software, telecoms, energy, microelectronics and manufacturing.
More recently Bryan’s advised, mentored and invested in numerous early-stage businesses across a range of sectors. His guidance helps businesses to raise finance, grow sales, increase profits, manage the operational whirlwind and maximise exit valuation. He also runs courses on leadership, management, strategy and sales.
