About this Event
Columbia Is About to Make History. Will You Be There?
On Tuesday, July 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Lakeside Ashland will host one of the most ambitious networking events Columbia has ever attempted: a World Record attempt for the most people speed networking simultaneously.
The target? 1,119 participants. That's not a typo — and it only works if you show up.
This is Columbia's business community doing what it does best: showing up for each other in a big way. In three hours, you'll make more meaningful connections than most people make in a year — and walk away with something most professionals never get to say: I set a world record.
What to Expect The event is part speed networking, part community celebration. Alongside the record attempt, we're hosting the World Record Community Expo — a marketplace of Columbia's best businesses and nonprofits. With this many professionals under one roof (okay, one sky — it's Lakeside), how could we not put our best business foot forward?
Ways to Be Part of It
