Jalan Crossland is nationally acclaimed by audiences, critics, and his musical peers as being a premier acoustic guitarist, banjo player, singer-songwriter, and engaging showman. Along with dozens of regional contest awards, his extraordinary guitar work earned him National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship Runner Up honors and the State Flatpick Championship title of his home state. His album, “Singalongs For The Apocalypse”, won Wyoming Public Radio’s People’s Choice - Album Of The Year award. In recognition for his contribution to the arts in Wyoming, he was bestowed the Governor’s Arts Award.
Jalan has opened for, or shared concert stages with, Robert Earl Keen, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Taj Majal, Charlie Daniels, Shovels & Rope, Shakey Graves, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Steve Earl, Ray Wiley Hubbard, The Grand Teton Symphony, Earl Scruggs, John Hartford, Charlie Daniels, Corb Lund & The Hurtin’ Albertans, Ballet Wyoming (playing, not dancing), The Young Dubliners, Reckless Kelly, Mike Gordon (Phish), Sam Bush, Leon Redbone, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, John McEwen (Dirt Band), Marty Stewart, Peter Rowan, Michael Martin Murphy, Norman Blake, and more.
Songs about drinkin, fightin, hobos, roughnecks, trailer park fires, oil-patch strippers, and little neighborhood dogs that bite, are lent their truth-is-stranger-than-fiction wobble by virtue of the fact that Jalan was raised and resides in a rural Wyoming mountain town, population 200, give or take.
Jalan has performed for Antelope Butte Festival, BMI Songwriters Festival Key West & New Orleans, Beartrap Music Festival, Evanston Bluegrass Festival, Big Horn Mountain Festival, Big West Arts Fest, Deadwood Jam, Donkey Creek Music Festival, French Quarter Festival, Gibson Guitars, Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival, Grand Teton Music Festival, John Hartford Festival, Longmire Days, Mansface Mountain Music Festival, Meadowgrass, NIC Fest, New West Fest Bohemian Nights, Nowoodstock, Oyster Ridge Music Festival, Peaceful Bend Festival, Porcupine Mountains Music Festival, Sioux River Folk Festival, Snowy Range Music Festival, Unvarnished Music Fest, Walnut Valley Festival, WHATFest, and more.

JG Shadid is an EMMY NOMINATED composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and educator. He has been featured in The New York Times, People Magazine and Consequence of Sound, topped the iTunes charts for his original composition for acclaimed documentary The Pedal Movie, and received an Emmy nomination for his original score for the documentary series Seeing Brave.
Shadid's music ranges from cinematic songwriter folk, to minimalist piano, to ambient/experimental soundscape, to neo-classical composition. This, alongside his passion for music education and his work with Reverb has earned him notoriety on the internet with millions of views, as well as taking him to Istanbul, Turkey, where he taught a music program to Syrian Refugee children through the KARAM FOUNDATION.
He has toured all over the U.S. Europe, UK, and Japan and is a pillar of the Chicago music community as co-founder/curator of DIY listening venue - The Red Room, and owner/proprietor of Gentle Bear Studio - both located in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood. Shadid has released 4 records in the last 3 years in a variety of disciplines. His piece STRING QUARTET NO. 1 “NOVA DECO” had its world premier in 2024, and his latest album "The Art of Speaking Softly" was released via the StormChasers LTD label in July 2025.

Maiden King is the solo effort of Jake Hawrylak, a Santa Fe bred/Chicago made singer songwriter. The band is a vessel for exploring how to make deeply intricate and introspective music sound fun and exciting. These songs revel in the complexities and nuances of very simple seeds and relish in the unfolding of a story that never ends. Energetic and questioning rock music with flourishes of americana, cinematic orchestrations and textured ambient music.
The self produced debut "Who Else Were We Supposed to Become?" was released in fall 2023.
The LP was written to mythologize a number of wandering memories that kept floating into focus during the early months of the pandemic. The first moment of derealization as a young man; a rambunctious tale of arson in the shadow of a bigger fight with a dear friend; escaping the mire of one’s self esteem; and finally a moment (or two) of quiet acceptance. Though seemingly disparate, the coalescence of all of these began to paint a clearer picture. The title is completely rhetorical, a kind of matter of fact reckoning with the person you were always going to become and the peace that can finally settle when you stop fighting it.
In addition to leading this project, Jake is also a friend and frequent collaborator with the likes of Sunjacket; Sedgewick; Reno Cruz; Leroy Bach; Marvin Tate; Alicia Walters; Jenn Hall; Astrachan; Claude; Joe George; and many more.
