Reimagining the Innerbelt, Together - Community Meal & Conversations
Time: April 10, 11am-1pm
Location: Odom Boulevard Branch Library
Join Carla Davis and Ebony Hill for a collaborative conversation and meal to discuss the future of Akron's decommissioned Innerbelt land as part of the Master Planning process. These focused community conversations are an opportunity to shape the future of the city through discussion and activities in additional to the city-wide Open Houses and other engagements.
Lunch will be provided. Registration through Eventbrite is required.
There will be two sessions on April 10 (lunch and dinner). Please register for only one session to allow everyone a chance to participate.
What to Expect
In these interactive focus groups, you will:
- Discuss details about the ongoing Innerbelt Master Plan process and review the history of the Innerbelt
- Meet the Community Coordinators and other Akronites interested in shaping the future of the former Innerbelt land
- Participate in activities to define potential actions and initiatives that can benefit Akronites
- Explore and discuss transformative ideas for housing, economic development, and community well-being in Akron
