What’s on the menu:
In May, Pratt is excited to partner with the University of Maryland's Academy of Lifelong Learning to host three mini sessions on Empowered Aging. In this welcoming, multi-program, we will help you take charge and live well throughout your aging journey. Together, we’ll explore simple ways to stay active, maintain independence at home, and find trustworthy health information. Whether you're planning ahead or looking to build new habits, this program offers guidance, connection, and support for your journey. Our sessions will include:
- Aging in Place/Quality of Life with Gerontology Professor, School of Graduate Studies
- Move More! Physical Activity for Aging Well with Physical Therapy, Gerontology Focus, School of Medicine
- Reliable Health Resources for Seniors with Executive Director, Network of National Library of Medicine, UMB Health Sciences and Human Services Library
We hope you will join us for this information and important afternoon of community learning and fellowship.
Following the mini workshops, participants may also choose to take part in other facilitated activities or join our regular book discussion group led by Pratt Librarians from the Fiction Dept.
Lunch will be provided.
Please contact the Programs department at [email protected] or 410-396-5494, if you have questions about registration or to request accommodations.
