Come help us care for God's creation!About this Event
Help the Catholic Ecology Center with its mission to care for God's creation!
What we'll be working on:
- Removing invasive Buckthorn and Autumn Olive
- Cutting back branches encroaching on trails and hauling to brush pile (great for families!)
- Cutting up fallen trees along trailsides (must bring your own chainsaw and be 18+)
- Cleaning the buildings, inside and out
Important Information:
- No experience necessary (except for chainsaw work)
- For ages 12 and up - those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Dress for the weather in comfortable clothing and shoes that can get dirty
What to Bring
- a reusable water bottle
- work gloves if you have them
- a chainsaw if you have one
We kindly ask that you register by "purchasing" free tickets so that we can prepare projects based on group size.
