Join us again for the 2nd Annual City of Peoria and Travis Manion Foundation Phoenix Chapter Veteran’s Day Service Project! We will be preparing the park and community space for the City of Peoria's annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the Rio Vista Veterans Honor Wall, Sunday, Nov 10th.
This is a free event + you get a shirt, or donate at your discretion. You MUST register below. It is family friendly.
Please check in, pick up your TMF shirt, and enjoy a BBQ lunch provided by the Military Affairs Committee at 1:00 PM, located in the Wagon Wheel Ramadas.
Project tasks include raking rock and garden beds, sweeping pathways and cleaning the deck, polishing and cleaning memorial walls, setting up flags along the pathway, and assisting with other projects in preparation for the next day's services. There are plenty of family-friendly jobs available. Tools and gloves will be provided.
