Make a Meaningful Difference in Our Community by helping prepare and serve dinner at The Friendship Shelter, a wonderful organization dedicated to supporting some of our community’s most vulnerable neighbors. Friendship Shelter provides a wide range of essential services — and you can be part of their positive impact by cooking and serving a warm and welcoming meal to approximately 40 residents.

FOOD PREP: We have 40 guests at our shelter that you will provide dinner for. We recommend fresh veggies and protein (vegan-friendly proteins are ok!) are incorporated into your meal, but please bring whatever you’re able to! Groups of 7 or smaller are welcome to use our kitchen- we have ovens, burners, pots, pans, utensils, and basic seasonings. You are also welcome to simply drop-off food if it's more convenient. Please bring dinner in time for it to be served by 6 pm. Feel free to bring water/beverages as well.
LOCATION: Our Bridge Housing Program shelter is located at 1335 S Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. You can park in the Capri Laguna parking lot next door to our shelter on Gaviota street,or the surrounding side streets. When you arrive, call the front desk at (949) 313-8482 to let the staff know you’re there. Our staff will help transport the food into the shelter from your car.
