🌎 Earth Day-Serve Day at the Falls of the OhioDescription:
Celebrate Earth Day with purpose.
Leadership Southern Indiana is proud to partner with the Falls of the Ohio Foundation for a community-wide clean-up event, generously sponsored by Meta, with in-kind support from Turner Construction.
On April 22, we’ll come together to care for one of our region’s most treasured natural spaces. This is more than a volunteer opportunity—it’s a chance to connect with fellow leaders, get outside, and make a visible impact in our community.
We’ll begin at 2:00 PM in the parking lot for check-in, waivers, and a bit of networking before heading out to serve together. After the cleanup, enjoy light snacks and conversation with fellow volunteers.
Prefer to stay indoors? There is also an indoor volunteer opportunity inside the Interpretive Center from 3:00–5:00 PM working on a service project for a local nonprofit.
What to Bring:
-Gloves (recommended; limited supply available)
-Reusable water bottle (refill station provided)
-Comfortable, weather-appropriate shoes (it may be muddy!)
-Optional snacks or beverages
Why Join Us?
Because strong communities are built by people who show up and take care of the places we all share.
Cost: Free (registration strongly encouraged)
