Serious Cereal is a breakfast gathering where creative people pitch ideas that could make their community better while the audience helps fund one of them.

Inspired by grassroots idea forums like Detroit SOUP and the creative spirit of gatherings like CreativeMornings, Serious Cereal is designed to support small ideas with big potential.
Here’s how it works:
🥣 The Format
- Guests arrive, grab cereal, coffee, and milk.
- Only 4 community members pitch ideas (3 minutes each).
- The audience can ask 3 questions.
- Every attendee helps fund the prize through their ticket.
- The audience votes.
- One idea receives the funding collected that morning.
No venture capital.
No complicated applications.
Just people supporting ideas they believe in.
