Sequencing is an essential skill because it provides the structure for the experience that practitioners have in a yoga class. A great entry to thinking mindfully about sequencing is the word vinyasa itself. Vinyasa comes from the Sanskrit words “nyasa” which means “to place” and “vi” which means “in a special way.”
Come out and join Shea and Breann for a workshop focused on sequencing with structure and freedom to creatively adapt for all students and bodies. The 2-hours will include informational content, handouts with preparatory mini-sequences, and an opportunity to work with fellow teachers.
We will learn how to structure an entire class for focused creativity.
Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credit will be available for all Yoga Alliance registered teachers. Students are welcome, but the class will focus on sequencing from the lens of a teacher.
