Our second Friday dances at the Albany Elks Lodge resume on Friday, Sep. 12 with Here on the Hill (a trio featuring fiddlers Tory Horner and Annie McDougall and guitarist Rose Powell) along with caller Melanie Axel-Lute.As always, our beginner’s lesson starts at 7:45pm, with the dance following from 8pm to 11pm. The dance is held at the Albany Elks Lodge, located at 25 S Allen St, Albany, NY. The ballroom is air-conditioned! Clean, soft-soled shoes are recommended to protect the dance floor. All dances are taught, and no partner is necessary!
Admission is sliding scale from $8 –$20+. Calling will use Larks and Robins to denote dance roles.
