Get ready to mix, squish, stretch, explore, and discover. Sensory Scientists is a hands-on camp where kids safely explore textures, materials, and sensory experiments through playful, guided activities designed to spark curiosity and confidence.
This camp gives children a fun, supportive place to investigate the world through touch, movement, observation, and creativity — all in a sensory-aware environment where every child can participate at their own comfort level.
Key Highlights / Activities
Slime & Texture Experiments: Create, stretch, squish, and compare different sensory materials.
Hands-On Discovery Stations: Explore cause and effect through simple, kid-friendly experiments.
Sensory Play With Purpose: Practice curiosity, flexibility, communication, and self-awareness while having fun.
Creative Science Challenges: Mix colors, test textures, build, pour, sort, and explore using everyday materials.
Comfort-Level Choices: Activities are guided with options so children can engage in ways that feel safe and successful.
Age Range & Skill Level
Grades: K–2nd and 3rd–5th grade groups
Skill Level: All abilities welcome. No science experience needed. This camp is a great fit for children who enjoy hands-on activities, sensory play, creative experiments, or who benefit from supported sensory exploration in a calm, encouraging setting.
What to Bring / Logistics
Please send your child with:
Water bottle
Comfortable clothes that can get messy
Any helpful sensory, comfort, or regulation item
Snack, if needed for your child’s session
Completed intake form before attending, if your child is new to Aaron’s Corner
Dates: June 29 – July 2
Days: Monday–Thursday
Location: Aaron’s Corner LLC, 1800 Hoskins St, Newberg
K–2nd Grade Sessions: 9:00–10:00am or 10:30–11:30am, max 6 kids
3rd–5th Grade Sessions: 12:30–2:00pm or 2:30–4:00pm, max 8 kids
Cost: $100/week for K–2nd, $125/week for 3rd–5th
New Camper Intake: First-time campers require a brief intake meeting, completed intake form, and one-time $50 intake fee for the 2026 camp season.
