Sensory Needs Workshop and Coffee Morning

Come along and meet other parents of children and young people with SEND, enjoy a cuppa and share your views with us regarding your child's education, health and social care needs and the support they receive.

We will also have Hope Hargreaves, Seacroft Family Hub’s SEND Specialist Co-Ordinator, who will be leading a workshop about Sensory Needs which will involve creating a sensory profile for your child.

The aims of the workshop are to:

• To support parent carers on their journey with their child’s individual sensory needs;
• To explain how we can identify, explore, and respond to individual sensory needs to promote sensory regulation;
• To create an individualised sensory profile for your child;
• To share good practice and hints and tips which could help children; and
• To let parent carers know they are not alone.
