We are proud to open our Museum doors with our lights dimmed, minimal sounds, and a relaxed atmosphere. Sensory Hour is an event for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Sensory Processing sensitivities and their families to experience the Museum at their own pace. Our goal is to create a comfortable environment for individuals with diverse sensory differences during Sensory Hour. Our staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions you have and, if necessary, direct you to a quiet space to cool down and take a break. Families are welcome to stay the remainder of the day to explore the rest of the Park. Participants are always welcome to bring their own fidgets, ear protection, and other sensory resources to the Park. This program is free, however pre-registration is required, and space is limited. For more information and to register, please call 530-242-3108 or visit turtlebay.org/sensory-hour.
Thank you Josh Barker Real Estate for presenting Sensory Hour!
