We are excited to announce a series of FREE Sensory-Friendly visits for individuals who benefit from a sensory-friendly environment. Pre-registration is required.Each event will include Educational programming designed and facilitated by the Wonderhub Education team. Themed events will include enhanced activities such as trick-or-treat, egg hunts, and special guests (Santa, Olaf, Elsa, Easter Bunny, etc.).
For Sensory-Friendly Visits, we will adhere to the following protocols:
- We have reduced this event to half-capacity. No additional “tickets” may be claimed once we reach capacity.
- Lights will be lowered.
- No music or background sounds will be played.
- Sound levels on our sound making exhibits will be lowered or switched off, where possible.
- A limited amount of sensory bags including noise cancelling headphones are available to borrow at our front desk on a first come, first served basis.
- We will be staggering activity participation, and/or visits with special guests by group to avoid crowding and excessive noise.
- We ask that treats and food are enjoyed at home rather than during the event.

Monday, October 27, 5:30-7:30pm – Halloween Theme
Monday, November 24, 5:30-7:30pm – Winter/Santa Theme
Monday, December 22, 5:30-7:30pm
Monday, January 26, 5:30-7:30pm
Monday, March 30, 5:30-7:30pm – Easter Bunny Theme
These events are free thanks to our supporters: City of Saskatoon and Sask Lotteries.
Eligibility: Registration is intended for those who need or benefit from a sensory-friendly space, or those attending as family members, friends, or support people of someone who does.
Free Registration: These events are free and intended for those who need them. If you do not personally benefit from a sensory-friendly space, we ask that you consider whether attending supports the purpose of the event and the needs of the intended audience.
