Sensory-Friendly Storytime & Movement is a welcoming, flexible program for young children of all abilities, especially those who benefit from additional sensory supports. Families will enjoy a short, interactive storytime using visuals, music, and simple language, followed by guided movement activities such as obstacle paths, scarves, and foam play through Special Olympics’ Young Athletes program. A calm sensory and fine-motor area with activities like coloring, playdough, puzzles, and fidgets is available throughout the program. Children are encouraged to participate at their own pace, take breaks as needed, and engage in ways that feel comfortable for them in a supportive, inclusive environment.Drop-in
