Ventura County Ballet presents a Sensory Friendly Performance of Snow White

Created to offer a relaxed and inclusive theater experience, this special performance welcomes individuals with autism, PTSD, and other sensory, physical, or cognitive challenges to enjoy the beauty and magic of a fully staged live ballet. This marks the first sensory-friendly live theater performance in Ventura County.
What makes this a sensory Friendly peformance?
Guests are invited to be themselves in a relaxed, inclusive environment.
- House lights will remain on at a low level during the performance
- Sound levels will be reduced throughout the theater
- Modifications including a relaxed entry/exit from the theater
- Designated break areas in the theater
- Specially trained staff throughout to assist with audience needs
- Audience members can access social stories and resources to prepare for the Snow White sensory-friendly performance
This Sensory Friendly Performance is supported by VibeWell Ventura County, a collaborative initiative between County of Ventura Arts and Culture and Ventura County Behavioral Health.
