About this Event

About the workshop

Join us for a somatic journey to awaken our vital force and feel home in our bodies!
During this workshop, we will first shift our attention to the body through a guided meditation sitting on a chair. Gradually, we will invite slow movement to release unnecessary tension and give more space to the body. We will then work in pairs, one moving and the other guiding through gentle touch. We will finish with a group exercise and share.
In this practice, we use automatic writing to describe the sensations after the exercises and reflect on the experiences. No previous experience of meditation or writing is needed. The main goal is to experiment with our bodies as safe and creative spaces. Welcome!
Languages: Guidance in English (Finnish, Swedish, French available)
The workshop is open to everyone interested in meditation as a way to release tension and increase focus and creativity in daily life. For more information about sensorial meditation, click here.
About the facilitator:
Ingrid is a professional dancer and Perceptual Pedagogue (Danis Bois Method). She is passionate about creating spaces in which we can unlearn old patterns and allow new dimensions to emerge and surprise us. She works with the so-called Sensible body as a channel to blur the usual way of relating to oneself and the world and invite surprises. Born in Belgium, Ingrid navigates between French, Swedish, English and Finnish.
