A Balboa Weekend Focused on Sensation, Creativity & Partner Connection
Sense Balboa is a workshop dedicated to the senses. Through simple yet powerful concepts we will explore the body, the connection with the partner and the precision – of both movements and the mind. We will immerse ourselves in a true creative process looking for the freedom of expression in dance.
This workshop is designed for dancers who want to go deeper than steps and patterns, and instead focus on quality of movement, clarity, and meaningful connection.

❧ 3 days of dancing
❧ Hike to Vitosha mountain combined with a deep dive into the senses
❧ 3 dance class themes focused on body, creativity, precision
❧ 2 parties and 1 bar social dance

Inspiring Balboa teacher couples will guide you through the weekend, sharing their unique perspectives on connection, creativity, and precision.
❧ Michael Tan & Natasha Shevchenko - one wildly interesting and innovative dance couple renowned throughout the USA, Europe and Asia. Wherever they go they bring a sense of warmth and deep passion for play, comfort and honest connection.
❧ Borislav Enchev & Emiliya Bazlyankova - the engines behind the Bulgarian Balboa dance community, striving to create a space where people can express themselves freely and form long lasting connections.
