Enjoy a morning out exploring Warabrook's natural wetlands and getting familiar with catching public transport in Newcastle.πΆββοΈ Join us for morning tea and a walk through the wetlands while hearing the social, heritage and natural stories that have made these wetlands come to life. We'll be catching the train to the wetlands and the bus back, so take this opportunity to ask any questions who may have about using public transport as a senior in Newcastle.
π We are catching the 9:14am train from Newcastle Interchange to Warabrook Station, so you also have the option to join that train at Hamilton Station at 9:16am or Waratah Station at 9:21am.
π Who is this suitable for: People over 65 with reasonable fitness or appropriate mobility aid, and carers. We will be walking approximately 3km throughout the course of the morning.
What to bring:
