Leader: Maddie Morgan
About the hike: Join Friends of the Fells for a guided flora hike at the Middlesex Fells. We'll travel a few trails in Greenwood Park of the Fells and learn more about the local plants we see along the trails. The hike will include some rocky footing with roots and minor elevation. There are no paved segments of the trails. Good hiking boots or sneakers are highly recommended along with pants, tall socks, and long sleeves to protect against tick and poison ivy exposure.
Parking is available at the Greenwood Park parking lot (Google Maps location here).
Please note, there are no restrooms at this site.
Heavy rain, thunder, or stormy wind cancels.
Dogs: While we love experiencing the outdoors with our dogs, this program is not suitable for dogs. We ask that you please leave your furry friends home while attending this program.
